  Legend has it, Loaf was baked in a witch's oven for three weeks before he was plucked out by a lumberjack who tried to eat him. When loaf cried out, the lumberjack realized that he couldn't devour such a cute treat, and instead adopted him into the lumberjack way of life. This is, of course, all a lie.
